AirPods Black Friday deals 2026 UK: which models will actually drop?
Short answer: the AirPods Pro 3 are the ones to watch. They're £200 at Amazon today (RRP £219), but they fell to about £183 in October's Prime sale, so wait for Black Friday. The new AirPods 5 (£119) haven't been discounted anywhere since they launched in September, and the cheapest good buy right now is the outgoing AirPods 4 with noise cancelling at £129.
No new AirPods are expected before Black Friday on 27 November. We'll update this page as prices move. Prices were last checked on 21 October 2026.
Apple AirPods Pro 3
£19 off. They were about £183 during Prime Big Deal Days, so a Black Friday price under £190 looks likely. Currys, John Lewis and Very are still at the full £219.
Apple AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation
£20 cheaper than last Black Friday's £149. Apple has replaced them with the AirPods 5, so stock is now running down. Currys and John Lewis are also £129.
Apple AirPods 4
The cheapest AirPods, without noise cancelling. £99 is the same as last year's Black Friday price, and they're already out of stock at Currys.
Apple AirPods 5
Full price everywhere. Fine if you want the newest model, but the AirPods 4 with ANC at £129 is a better deal for most people this year.
Apple AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case
£20 extra for a case that charges on a wireless pad. Only worth it if you already use one for your phone.
Apple AirPods Max (USB-C, previous model), Midnight
Leftover stock of the original Max, £75 under the new Max 2. Other colours are £469. Fine headphones, but we'd want to see these under £400.
AirPods prices to aim for this Black Friday
These are the lowest UK prices we've seen recently. At or below these, it's a genuinely good deal.
- AirPods Pro 3 (RRP £219): about £183 at Amazon during Prime Big Deal Days, 6–7 October 2026. Anything under £190 is good; under £180 would be the best yet.
- AirPods 4 with ANC (RRP £169): £129 now, and about £125 at Amazon in October. Last Black Friday they were £149.
- AirPods 4 (RRP £119): £99, the same as Black Friday 2025.
- AirPods 5 (RRP £119) and AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case (RRP £139): no discount yet. A first Black Friday cut of £10–£20 is possible but not certain.
- AirPods Max 2 (RRP £499): still full price at Currys, John Lewis and Very, and Amazon didn't discount them in October either.
Which AirPods should you buy?
AirPods 4 or AirPods 5: open-fit buds with no silicone tips. Comfortable if in-ear tips bother you, but they let in more noise. The AirPods 4 with ANC at £129 is the sweet spot while stock lasts.
AirPods Pro 3: the ones most people should buy. They seal in your ear, so noise cancelling is much stronger, and they include heart-rate tracking for workouts. Worth the extra if you commute or travel.
AirPods Max 2: over-ear headphones with the best sound in the range, but heavy and expensive. Only worth it at a big discount, and we haven't seen one from a mainstream UK retailer yet.
Will AirPods be cheaper on Black Friday 2026?
Most likely, yes, for the Pro 3. Last year they were brand new and stayed at full price through Black Friday, while older models were cut. This year they're a year old, they've already dropped to about £183, and Amazon usually matches or beats its own Prime sale prices in November. The AirPods 5 are in the position the Pro 3 were in last year: new, and unlikely to see a big cut.
Apple itself doesn't cut prices. Last year it offered an Apple gift card with AirPods instead (£40 with the Pro 3), which is worth less than a straight discount at Amazon or Currys.
Avoid these traps
- Marketplace sellers. You'll see AirPods Pro 3 and Max 2 cheaper on eBay and OnBuy from third-party sellers. Some are fine, but fakes are common. Stick to Apple, Amazon (sold by Amazon), Argos, Currys, John Lewis or Very.
- Old "was" prices. Some retailers quote a "was" price that only applied for a few weeks in the summer. Compare with the target prices above instead.
- AirPods Pro 2. They're no longer sold new by the big retailers, so a cheap "Pro 2" listing is likely old stock or a marketplace seller.
Will AirPods Pro 3 be cheaper on Black Friday 2026?
Probably. They hit about £183 at Amazon in early October, and big Black Friday prices usually match or beat Prime sale prices. Aim for under £190.
Are the AirPods 5 worth buying over the AirPods 4?
Not at today's prices. The AirPods 4 with noise cancelling are £129 and do most of what the AirPods 5 do. Buy the 5 if you want the newest model or the 4 has sold out.
Where is cheapest for AirPods in the UK?
Amazon usually has the lowest price on the Pro models. Currys, John Lewis and Very often match each other, and sometimes match Amazon on Black Friday itself.
Is Apple releasing new AirPods before Christmas?
Not as far as we know. The AirPods 5 arrived in September and the AirPods Max 2 in March. Rumours of a camera-equipped model point to next year.
