Dyson Black Friday deals 2026 UK: prices to wait for
Short answer: most Dyson prices today are still above what they hit at Black Friday 2025, so wait if you can. The one that's already there is the V15s Detect Submarine at £599.99, which matches last November's best price.
We update this page as prices move. These prices were checked on Dyson's own site and John Lewis on 20 October 2026.
Dyson V15s Detect Submarine (wet and dry cordless vacuum)
Same as last Black Friday's best price (£599 at Very and John Lewis). Vacuums and mops hard floors in one go.
Dyson V10 Konical cordless vacuum
One of Dyson's 2026 models, already £120 off. No Black Friday history yet, so this is a fair price rather than a proven low.
Dyson V12 Detect Slim Absolute
Same price at Dyson. It fell to £349 at John Lewis last Black Friday, so £80 more today.
Dyson V15 Detect Absolute with detail cleaning kit
The 'was' price includes the kit; the plain V15 is about £650 elsewhere. It went to around £450–£480 last November.
Dyson Airwrap i.d. multi-styler (Straight+Wavy or Curly+Coily)
£100 off with free personalisation, but Boots had the Curly+Coily version at £329 last Black Friday.
Dyson Supersonic hair dryer (Straight+Wavy)
£50 off, but the Supersonic has been close to £200 in the last six months.
Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1
Heater, fan and purifier in one, £100 off at both John Lewis and Dyson. Useful going into winter if you'd use all three.
Dyson prices to aim for this Black Friday
These are the prices Dyson's most popular models reached around Black Friday 2025, or their lowest in the last six months. If you see one at or below this figure, it's a real deal.
- V8 Advanced: £199 (John Lewis, Black Friday 2025)
- Cyclone V10 Total Clean: £279 (Currys, Black Friday 2025)
- V11 Extra: about £337 (John Lewis, Black Friday 2025)
- V12 Detect Slim Absolute: £349 (John Lewis, Black Friday 2025)
- V15 Detect Absolute: about £450 to £480
- V15s Detect Submarine: £599
- V16 Piston Animal: under £590 (six-month low)
- Airwrap i.d.: £329
- Supersonic: around £200 to £210
Which? also publishes its own "genuine saving" lines. Its threshold for the V15 is under £550, the V12 under £449 and the V8 Animal under £329. Treat those as the minimum: anything above them isn't really a deal.
When does Dyson's Black Friday sale start?
Black Friday 2026 is on Friday 27 November. Last year Dyson's own sale was already running by the end of October, almost a month early, and its Black Friday page for 2026 says much the same this year: deals are likely to start early and run to around Cyber Monday (30 November). John Lewis, Currys, Very, Argos and Boots usually match or slightly undercut Dyson within a day or two.
Buy from Dyson or a retailer?
Right now John Lewis and Dyson are matching each other to the penny on the V12, the HP1 purifier and the Supersonic. Last Black Friday, though, the retailers were often a few pounds cheaper. A few things make Dyson's own site worth checking:
- Two-year guarantee on vacuums, hair tools, purifiers and fans when you buy new.
- Price-match refund: Dyson says it will refund the difference if you find the same product cheaper at an eligible UK retailer within 35 days.
- Bundles and personalisation you can't get elsewhere. Just check the 'was' price on a bundle: the V15 bundle's £699.99 includes extra tools, so the saving is smaller than it looks.
Refurbished: Dyson's refurbished store usually takes £80 to £100 off, but you only get a one-year guarantee and most items were out of stock when we checked.
Which Dyson vacuum should you buy?
Small flat or mostly hard floors: the V12 Detect Slim is light and easy to carry upstairs. At £349 it's the best value Dyson last Black Friday.
Bigger house, carpets or pets: the V15 Detect has more suction, a longer battery and a laser that shows up dust on hard floors. Wait for it to get below £480.
Lots of hard floors: the Submarine models mop as well as vacuum. At £599.99 the V15s Detect Submarine is already at last year's low.
On a budget: an older V8 or V10 at around £200 to £280 still does a good job. Dyson's 2026 V10 Konical is the newer option if you want something current.
Is it worth waiting for Black Friday for a Dyson?
For most models, yes. The V12 and V15 are £50 to £80 above last year's Black Friday prices today. Expect the cuts to start before 27 November.
Are Dyson Black Friday discounts real?
Mostly, but the 'was' prices are high and bundles can make savings look bigger than they are. Compare against the target prices above rather than the percentage off.
Is Amazon cheaper for Dyson?
Sometimes for hair tools: the Supersonic dropped to £199 there last year. For vacuums, John Lewis, Currys and Very were usually cheaper or the same.
