Cult Beauty advent calendar 2026: contents, price and is it worth it
The Cult Beauty advent calendar 2026 comes in two editions, Signature and Special, both priced at £245 and valued by Cult Beauty at over £1,100. That's about 4.5 times what you pay, which is good for a luxury calendar, but only if you'd use most of the 33 to 38 products inside.
We couldn't confirm Cult Beauty's live price or stock today (its product pages wouldn't load for us), so check the Cult Beauty advent calendar page before you rely on it. The £245 price was unchanged from launch until at least late October. The cards below are comparable beauty calendars whose prices we checked on 30 October 2026.
LOOKFANTASTIC Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 (worth over £665)
25 doors with 19 full-size products, for about half the price of the Cult Beauty calendar. The best alternative if £245 is more than you want to spend.
GLOSSYBOX 2026 Advent Calendar (26 products, worth over £645)
In stock at £5 under its usual price, at about £3.30 a product. Includes Medik8 and Patrick Ta, two brands also in the Cult Beauty calendar. Subscribers pay £75.
John Lewis Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 (worth £1,160)
The closest match to Cult Beauty on price and stated value. John Lewis is running £20 off a £100 spend on selected beauty with code BEAUTY100, so check whether it applies at checkout.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Holiday Wonderland Advent Calendar 2026 (15 items)
In stock. Valued at £285, so a much smaller saving than Cult Beauty's. Only worth it for a Charlotte Tilbury fan.
LOOKFANTASTIC 12 Days of K-Beauty Advent (worth over £140)
12 doors of Korean skincare from brands including LANEIGE and Anua. A cheaper option for someone who mainly wants skincare.
Signature or Special Edition?
Both editions cost the same and share 29 products. The difference is the last few doors:
- Signature Edition: 33 products, 19 of them full size. It adds a travel size of Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream, Fable & Mane HoliRoots Hair Oil, Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm and Sol de Janeiro Body Badalada '48 Lotion. It has no fragrance, so it ships to more countries.
- Special Edition: 38 products, 17 full size. It swaps those four for five fragrances (including Kilian Angels' Share, KAYALI Musk Santal 34 and Escentric Molecules 01) and four hair products from Davines, K18, Color Wow and amika. Because of the perfume, delivery is more restricted.
Full-size products in both include Medik8 Advanced Pro-Collagen+ Peptide Cream, Paula's Choice Clinical Pro Retinaldehyde, Westman Atelier Eye Want You Mascara and Hourglass Unlocked lipstick. Cult Beauty also hid three £1,000 'golden tickets' to spend on its site.
Pick the Signature Edition for someone who wants more products they'll use up, such as skincare and body care. Pick the Special Edition for someone who'd enjoy trying high-end perfume in small sizes.
Is the Cult Beauty advent calendar worth it?
Cult Beauty values each edition at over £1,100, about 4.5 times the £245 price. That works out at roughly £7.40 a product for the Signature Edition and £6.45 for the Special Edition. Here's how that compares with calendars we checked today, using each retailer's own figures:
- GLOSSYBOX: £85 for over £645, about 7.6 times the price.
- LOOKFANTASTIC: £120 for over £665, about 5.5 times.
- John Lewis: £250 for £1,160, about 4.6 times.
- Cult Beauty: £245 for over £1,100, about 4.5 times.
- Charlotte Tilbury: £170 for £285, about 1.7 times.
So Cult Beauty isn't the cheapest per pound of stated value, but it has more prestige skincare brands than the GLOSSYBOX or LOOKFANTASTIC calendars, and more full sizes than most at this price. The 'worth' figure adds up full retail prices, including travel sizes valued pro rata, so treat it as a guide. A better test is to read the contents list and count what the person would actually use. If it's at least two-thirds of the products, it's good value.
Where to buy it
The calendar is a Cult Beauty exclusive, sold on cultbeauty.co.uk (and its international site). You may see it on eBay, sometimes for less than £245. Treat those listings with care: you won't get Cult Beauty's returns, and it's hard to check the box hasn't been opened.
When does the price drop?
It launched on Cult Beauty in early September 2026 at £245, £5 more than last year's. Cult Beauty has excluded discount codes from its calendar in past years. The price was still £245 in late October, and we wouldn't expect a cut before Black Friday on 27 November.
Previous Cult Beauty calendars have sold out before December, so waiting is a gamble. If any are left after the 1st, you might find a reduction, but the choice will be much smaller.
When was the Cult Beauty advent calendar 2026 released?
It went on sale in early September 2026, after a waitlist. Buyers on launch day were offered a free £20 Cult Beauty gift card.
How many products are in the Cult Beauty advent calendar?
The Signature Edition has 33 products (19 full size) and the Special Edition has 38 (17 full size), across 25 doors.
Is the Cult Beauty advent calendar cheaper on Black Friday?
We wouldn't count on it. It has stayed at £245 since launch, and discount codes have usually been excluded. If you want it, buy it while it's in stock.
What's a cheaper alternative to the Cult Beauty calendar?
The LOOKFANTASTIC calendar at £120 has 19 full-size products, and GLOSSYBOX at £85 has 26 products. Both have less luxury skincare, but they cost half the price or less.
