Currys Black Friday 2026: dates, best deals and what to expect

When does Currys Black Friday 2026 start?

Currys hasn't given an exact date. On 27 October its homepage said 'Black Friday is coming soon', and its Black Friday page says early deals 'launch early in November'. Its current Autumn Sale appears to end around 1 November, which fits a start in the first days of November.

Past years:

• 2025: started on 29 or 30 October and ran to Cyber Monday (1 December). Most deals ended at midnight that night.
• 2024: the sale was already live by 1 November, with over 2,000 products reduced.

Currys's Black Friday price promise

Currys says that if an eligible item you buy early drops further on Black Friday, it will refund the difference. It hasn't published the 2026 terms yet. In 2025 you had to register your purchase by the end of November, and the cover ran until the start of December.

In 2025, Currys also said every Black Friday deal would be 'the lowest price it's ever been' at Currys, and it labelled items with an 'Our Lowest Ever Price' badge. That's a useful check, but it only refers to Currys's own prices, not other shops.

Price matching

Currys's everyday Price Promise matches any other UK retailer's price, in store or online, including discount codes. You can claim before you buy or up to seven days after. It won't match marketplace sellers, membership or loyalty prices, or staff, student and NHS codes. So if Amazon or Argos is cheaper, ask Currys to match it.

Currys Perks, trade-in and recycling

• Currys Perks is free to join with an email address. Members get exclusive prices and offers, and Currys is running a prize draw for a £500 gift card ahead of Black Friday.
• Trade-in: you can trade old tech for a gift card in store or a bank payment online, and put it towards something new.
• Recycling: Currys will recycle any old tech for free in its stores, even if you didn't buy it there.

How to get the best Currys deal

1. Check the price history. A big 'save £X' isn't always a real saving. Use a price tracker or compare with our target prices.
2. Use the price promise. If you see the same product cheaper at another big retailer, ask Currys to match it.
3. Don't wait too long on popular TVs. The best-value OLED sizes can sell out over Black Friday weekend.
