When each retailer's Black Friday sale is expected to start

Nothing below is confirmed for 2026 yet. Each line shows what the retailer did last time, so you know when to start watching.

• Amazon: In 2025, Black Friday Week ran from 20 November to 1 December, and Amazon announced it on 13 November. Its last three announcements came on 2, 8 and 13 November, so expect the 2026 dates in the first half of November. • Argos: Started its Black Friday event on 1 November in 2024, with new deals every week through November. Expect a similar early start.
• Currys: Ran its Black Friday sale for the whole of November in 2025.
• Boots: Expected to start in the first week of November. Boots also runs weekly Star Gifts alongside its Black Friday offers.
• Very: Expected to start in the first week of November.
• Superdrug: Expected in the first week of November. In 2025, members got early access.
• Ninja and Shark: Their own websites are expected to start in the first week of November. Amazon and Argos usually match their prices.
• M&S: Usually one of the latest to start. It was expected to begin on Black Friday itself in 2025.

Do the best deals come early or on the day?

For most products, the lowest prices land in the last week before Black Friday, when Amazon's Black Friday Week starts and the other big retailers match it. Early November deals are often genuine, but they're rarely the lowest prices of the season. Two exceptions: advent calendars and toys sell out, so buy them early.

What date is Black Friday 2026 in the UK?

Friday 27 November 2026. It's always the Friday after the American Thanksgiving holiday.

When is Cyber Monday 2026?

Monday 30 November 2026. Many Black Friday deals carry on until then, and some retailers add extra online offers.

When do Amazon Black Friday deals start in 2026?

Amazon hasn't announced it yet. Based on recent years, expect Black Friday Week to start around 19 or 20 November and run to Cyber Monday, with the announcement in early to mid November.

Is it worth waiting for Black Friday?

For tech, vacuums, kitchen gadgets and Amazon devices, usually yes. For things that sell out, like advent calendars, popular toys and limited gift sets, buy when you see a good price.
