Oral-B Black Friday deals 2026 UK: iO toothbrush prices to wait for
Short answer: the Oral-B iO9 is a good buy now at £165 from Amazon, close to its lowest price. For the cheaper iO2, iO3 and iO5, wait for Black Friday. Last year Amazon had the iO2 at £34.99, the iO3 at £49.99 and the iO5 at £79.99, and all three cost more than that today.
Oral-B's 'was' prices are high and rarely charged, so we judge each deal against what it actually sold for recently. Prices were last checked on 22 October 2026.
Oral-B iO9 with charging travel case
£35 under Argos and Currys, and only £7 above its three-month low of £158. The best of the top-end iO models for the money.
Oral-B iO2
The cheapest iO. It was £34.99 last Black Friday and has been under £30 with a travel case in the past three months.
Oral-B iO3
A step up from the iO2 with more cleaning modes. It was £49.99 at Amazon last Black Friday, and £44.99 in the last few months, so wait.
Oral-B iO5
Bluetooth app tracking and five modes. Very is the same price. Last Black Friday it was £79.99, which is our target.
Oral-B iO6
Joybuy has it for £99, but it has been £90 recently. Hard to justify over the iO5 unless it drops below £90.
Oral-B Vitality Pro (black)
Not an iO, but a decent rechargeable brush with a two-minute timer for about £21. Fine for a first electric toothbrush or a spare.
Oral-B prices to aim for this Black Friday
These are the lowest prices we've seen. Anything at or below them is a genuinely good deal.
- iO2: £34.99 at Amazon on Black Friday 2025, and about £28 with a travel case in the last three months. Aim for under £35.
- iO3: £49.99 at Amazon on Black Friday 2025, and £44.99 since. Aim for £50 or less.
- iO5: £79.99 at Amazon on Black Friday 2025. Aim for £80.
- iO6: £90 in the last three months. Aim for £90 or less.
- iO9 with travel case: £158 in the last three months. Anything under £170 is good, so today's £165 already qualifies.
- iO10: about £270 today, and as low as £240 recently. Only worth it under £250.
Ignore Oral-B's 'was' prices. The iO2 is often listed as 'was £100' and the iO5 as 'was £280', but they rarely sell for anywhere near that.
Which Oral-B iO should you buy?
iO2: the best value. You get the same round head and smooth magnetic motor as the more expensive models, with a timer and a pressure sensor. It has fewer modes and no app, which most people won't miss.
iO3: a few more cleaning modes than the iO2. A worthwhile step up at around £50, not at £65.
iO5 and iO6: add Bluetooth and the app, which shows the areas you've missed. Useful if you want coaching on technique; skip them if not.
iO9 and iO10: more modes, a colour screen and (on the iO9 bundle) a charging travel case. Mostly about extras rather than a cleaner clean. Buy one only at a good price, like the iO9 today.
Whichever you choose, check the cost of brush heads. iO heads cost more than the older Pro and Vitality heads, so a cheap iO brush can still cost more over a few years.
When are Oral-B toothbrushes cheapest?
Oral-B prices drop in all the big sales: Black Friday, Prime Day in July and October, and sometimes Boxing Day. Last year the best prices arrived in the week of Black Friday and lasted through Cyber Monday. Toothbrushes are popular Christmas gifts, so bundles with travel cases or extra heads tend to sell out first.
Is the Oral-B iO worth it over a cheaper brush?
For most people the iO2 is the sweet spot. It cleans like the expensive iO models, and on Black Friday it often costs only a little more than a basic brush.
Will Oral-B toothbrushes be cheaper on Black Friday 2026?
Probably. The iO2, iO3 and iO5 were all cheaper on Black Friday 2025 than they are today, and they've dipped close to those prices again in recent sales.
Should I buy the iO9 now?
Yes, if you want a top-end model. £165 is close to its lowest price, and a Black Friday drop is unlikely to be more than a few pounds.
Do old Oral-B brush heads fit the iO?
No. iO brushes only take iO heads, and older heads won't fit. Factor in the cost of replacements.
