Thursday's deals: Lego advent calendars from £17.99, a £53 Silentnight heated throw and Oral-B iO9 at £165
With six weeks until Advent, the 2026 Lego advent calendars have dropped to their lowest prices so far, and Amazon is cheapest for all three we've checked. There's also a Silentnight heated throw close to its three-month low, and the Oral-B iO9 at £165.
We've also written two new Black Friday guides today, for PS5 and Oral-B toothbrushes. In short, PS5 prices are still close to full price, and most Oral-B models were cheaper last Black Friday, so we'd wait on both. Prices were checked on 22 October.
Lego City Advent Calendar 2026 (60510)
24 doors, 7 minifigures and a playmat. It's been as high as £26.99 in the last three months, and Argos is £18, so this is the cheapest it's been. A safe bet for Lego-mad kids aged 5 and up.
Lego Friends Advent Calendar 2026 (42698)
Three mini dolls and six animals across the 24 days. Argos matches the price; it's £22.99 at Very. That's its lowest price so far.
Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar 2026 (75456)
Includes IG-11 and Grogu minifigures. The cheapest of the nine shops we checked (Argos is £23, Boots and Hamleys £29.99). Advent calendars tend to sell out rather than get cheaper in late November, so buying now makes sense.
Silentnight Luxury Ribbed Faux Fur Heated Throw (grey)
Within about £1 of its three-month low, and around £21 less than at Very (£75). A heated throw warms you rather than the room, which is far cheaper than putting the heating up.
Oral-B iO9 electric toothbrush with charging travel case
£35 less than at Argos and Currys (£200) and close to its three-month low of £158. Our new Oral-B Black Friday guide explains which iO models are worth the money.
DualSense Charging Station
Sony's dock charges two PS5 controllers at once. A handy stocking filler for a PS5 owner at £5 off.
Oral-B iO2 electric toothbrush
A good entry-level iO, but it was £34.99 on Black Friday last year, and it has been under £30 with a travel case in the last three months. Hold on.
PlayStation 5 Digital Edition (Certified Refurbished)
The cheapest way to get a PS5 from Sony right now, with a full warranty. But new consoles were much cheaper on Black Friday last year, so wait unless you need one now. See our PS5 Black Friday guide.
Worth waiting for?
Buy the Lego advent calendars now. They're at their lowest prices, and the popular ones sell out before December. The heated throw is also close to its best price.
Wait on the PS5 and the cheaper Oral-B toothbrushes. Both were noticeably cheaper on Black Friday 2025, and our new guides have the prices to aim for: PS5 Black Friday deals 2026 and Oral-B Black Friday deals 2026. If you're shopping for a family Lego fan, our Lego Black Friday guide covers the bigger sets.
