Coffee machine Black Friday deals 2026 UK: De'Longhi, Sage, Ninja and Nespresso
Short answer: the best coffee machine deal right now is the De'Longhi Magnifica Evo with LatteCrema milk system (ECAM290.83) at £349 from Very, £230 off a price AO still charges today. For pods, the Nespresso Vertuo Pop is £54, close to the roughly £52 it sold for at this point last year.
Sage and Ninja's espresso machines are discounted too, but both have been cheaper in past sales, so those are worth waiting for. Very and Currys both promise to refund the difference if their price drops again before early December, which makes their early prices a safer buy than most. Prices were checked on 31 October 2026.
De'Longhi Magnifica Evo bean-to-cup with LatteCrema (ECAM290.83.TB)
The automatic milk version for the price the basic Evo usually sells for. The 'was' price is real: AO charges £579 for it today. De'Longhi's own site matches at £349.99.
Nespresso Vertuo Pop by Krups (XN920140)
The simplest way into Nespresso. It was about £52 at this time last year, so this is near the usual sale price. Very matches at £54.
De'Longhi Stilosa manual espresso machine (EC260BK)
A basic pump espresso machine with a steam wand, about £10 less than at John Lewis and Currys. It was around £85 last Black Friday.
Philips Series 3300 LatteGo bean-to-cup (EP3347/90)
LatteGo's two-part milk jug is the easiest milk system to clean. Very lists it as 'was £549', which we couldn't verify, so judge it against the De'Longhi above.
Sage the Barista Express (Black Truffle)
£20 under Sage's own price, but Amazon sold it for £449 on Black Friday 2025 and again in October. Aim for £449.
Ninja Luxe Café Premier (ES601UK)
Espresso, drip and cold brew in one, with a grinder that doses for you. £100 under its usual £549, but it was £435 last Black Friday and has been £420. More in our Ninja Black Friday guide.
Sage the Barista Pro (SES878)
Faster heat-up and a screen over the Express. Sage adds two free bags of beans from its beanz service. Very is £599.
Rocket Espresso Appartamento 2.0 Serie Nera
A proper Italian heat-exchanger machine for serious home baristas. Full price today, with free two-person delivery and 0% finance; grinder bundles are the only discounts so far.
Coffee machine prices to aim for this Black Friday
These are the prices we'd be happy paying, based on last year's Black Friday and the lowest prices seen this year.
- De'Longhi Magnifica Evo (basic, ECAM290.21): it was £330 on Black Friday 2024 and is £349 today. Aim for £330. The milk version (ECAM290.83) at £349 is already the better buy.
- Sage Barista Express: £449 at Amazon on Black Friday 2025 and during October's Prime sale. Aim for £449 to £479.
- Ninja Luxe Café Premier: £435 last Black Friday and £420 at its lowest. Aim for under £435.
- Nespresso Vertuo Pop: about £52 last autumn. Anything around £50 is good.
- De'Longhi Stilosa: about £85 last Black Friday. Under £90 is fine.
- De'Longhi Dedica Style: about £135 last Black Friday.
Ignore most 'was' prices on coffee machines. Some are list prices nobody charges, so we compare against what other retailers actually ask today.
Which type of coffee machine should you buy?
Pod machines (Nespresso, Dolce Gusto): the cheapest to buy and the least effort. Pop in a pod, press a button. The catch is the running cost: pods cost several times more per cup than buying beans. Best for one or two coffees a day.
Bean-to-cup (De'Longhi Magnifica, Philips LatteGo): grinds, tamps and brews at the touch of a button, and the milk models make a latte or cappuccino for you. You pay more upfront, but beans are cheaper than pods. The best choice for households that drink several milky coffees a day and don't want to learn barista skills.
Espresso with a built-in grinder (Sage Barista Express and Pro, Ninja Luxe Café): you dose, tamp and steam milk yourself, which takes practice but gives better coffee. The Ninja does more of the work for you, weighing the grounds and guiding the tamp, so it's easier for beginners.
Manual espresso (De'Longhi Stilosa and Dedica): cheap and compact, but you'll need pre-ground coffee or a separate grinder. A good way to try espresso at home for under £150.
Prosumer (Rocket Espresso): built to last decades, with commercial-style parts. Only worth it if coffee is a real hobby, and you'll want a good grinder too.
When are coffee machines cheapest?
The biggest drops come in the week of Black Friday and run through Cyber Monday, with Amazon's Prime sales in July and October close behind. This year Currys and Very started early: Currys will refund the difference on purchases made by 24 November if its price falls before 1 December, and Very's Price Promise runs from 28 October to 4 December. So if you find a good price at either, buying now carries little risk. Dates for each retailer are in when is Black Friday 2026, and the details of each scheme are in our Currys and Very Black Friday guides.
Watch for freebies too. Nespresso is currently giving two travel mugs and 50 pods with any machine bought direct, and Sage adds free beans. Those can be worth more than a small price cut elsewhere.
Is a bean-to-cup coffee machine worth it?
If you drink two or more coffees a day, usually yes. The savings on beans against pods or coffee shop drinks cover the cost within a year or two, and the Magnifica Evo at £349 is one of the cheapest ways in with automatic milk.
Will Sage coffee machines be cheaper on Black Friday 2026?
Probably. The Barista Express was £449 last Black Friday and again in October, so today's £479 to £500 prices still have room to fall.
Is the Ninja Luxe Café better than the Sage Barista Express?
The Ninja is easier for beginners because it weighs the coffee and guides you through tamping, and it also makes drip and cold brew. The Sage gives more control once you've learned. At similar prices, pick the Ninja for convenience and the Sage for hands-on espresso.
Are Nespresso Vertuo pods expensive?
They cost more than Original pods, and only Nespresso makes them. Check pod prices before you buy, as a cheap machine can cost more over a few years than a pricier bean-to-cup.
