When is Cyber Monday 2026 UK? The date, and what's actually cheaper than Black Friday
Cyber Monday 2026 is on Monday 30 November in the UK, three days after Black Friday on Friday 27 November. For most products it isn't cheaper than Black Friday: UK retailers mostly keep the same prices running from Black Friday week through to Cyber Monday, then end their sales.
The main reason to wait for Cyber Monday is a last chance at a price you missed, plus the odd extra online-only cut on tech. The prices below are early Black Friday deals already live, checked on 29 and 30 October, which show what a good Cyber Monday price looks like.

Cyber Monday 2026 UK: the key dates
- Black Friday: Friday 27 November 2026
- Cyber Monday: Monday 30 November 2026
- Amazon Black Friday Week: not announced yet. In 2025 it ran from 20 November to 1 December, finishing the day after Cyber Monday.
- Currys: its Black Friday sale started on 28 October 2026, with a price guarantee running to 1 December.
- Very: says its Black Friday sale runs from 2 November to 4 December 2026, so it carries on past Cyber Monday.
Cyber Monday is always the Monday after Black Friday. It began in the US as the day people shopped online after the holiday weekend. In the UK, almost everything is bought online anyway, so it has become the last day of one long Black Friday sale rather than a separate event. Is Cyber Monday cheaper than Black Friday?
Usually not. Most UK retailers set their Black Friday prices in the week before 27 November and leave them in place until Cyber Monday ends. Price-tracking sites tend to find that the lowest price of the season lands in Black Friday week itself, not on the Monday after.
There are a few exceptions worth knowing:
- Tech accessories, headphones and laptops sometimes get a fresh round of cuts on Cyber Monday, as retailers try to clear stock that didn't sell over the weekend.
- Amazon often adds new short-lived deals on Cyber Monday, though its main Black Friday prices stay the same.
- Software, subscriptions and digital services (streaming, VPNs, cloud storage, app subscriptions) are where online-only Cyber Monday offers are most common.
- Fashion and beauty brands sometimes add an extra code on Cyber Monday, often for their own websites only.
What you shouldn't do is wait for Cyber Monday on anything likely to sell out: popular toys, advent calendars, limited gift sets and consoles in bundles. By Monday the best of those are usually gone.
Buy on Black Friday or wait for Cyber Monday?
A simple rule: if the price is at or near its lowest ever on Black Friday, buy it then. Cyber Monday rarely beats it, and stock can run out over the weekend. If a product you want hasn't been discounted by Black Friday, Cyber Monday is your last realistic chance before Christmas.
Two things make buying early less risky this year. Currys' price guarantee means that if you buy by 24 November and Currys cuts the price again before 1 December, you can claim the difference. And most retailers extend returns over Christmas, so a gift bought in November can usually go back in January.

How to spot a real Cyber Monday deal
- Check the price history. PriceSpy and CamelCamelCamel show whether today's price is genuinely low, or whether the 'was' price was only charged briefly.
- Compare retailers. Amazon, Argos, Currys and John Lewis often match each other within hours, so the cheapest place can change during the day.
- Ignore countdown timers. 'Deal ends in 2 hours' often just means the same price continues on another page.
